Post Mortem for Ace

Ace endangered me gravely this time, exposing me to become a victim of a felony crime: fraud. 

The very top residence candidate Ace helped me reach was actually a FRAUD. 

I ended up visiting the residence, almost sent over the money. During the entire process, from Ace's initial discovery, to three rounds of checks during which I instructed Ace again and again to check for frauds and other signals, Ace kept pushing this one through the reviews. Not only was time wasted, I almost sent over money. Last minute, real estate agent saved me, telling me that the unit is actually only for sale, not for rent. Oh my god! I was that close to losing thousands of dollars. This was the most serious danger Ace had exposed to me to date. This is unacceptable! 

Furthermore, of the three top candidates, other two were also problematic. One of them was actually no longer available, and the other was available outside of the move-in date I had specified from the very first interaction with Ace. 

Ace thoroughly failed this task, which wasted over a week of my time, then almost damaged me financially. In fact, Ace would have damaged me financially for sure. It was not Ace's work, but just a serendipitous intervention by a human real estate agent who happened to be there to help me, that I was saved from this crime.
