# Palace Brands Ace has a duty to defend our trademarks. When we start our use in commerce, Ace must make sure our records are logged so that we can be defended in the future. To show that our marks are used in the sale or advertising of services, and the services are rendered in commerce, Ace must record the following at the launch of every Palace product: 1. Date of first use in commerce 2. Screenshot of the site or app showing the mark in use 3. Perma.cc submission (perma.cc by Harvard Library Innovation Lab) — purpose-built for legal evidence, recognized by courts and law schools; creates a timestamped on-demand capture; save the archived URL (this must be approved by Junwon); Wayback Machine (web.archive.org) as a secondary backup 4. Description of what service is being rendered (establishes the "rendered in commerce" prong) 5. No need to record analytics. The challenger bears the burden of proving it's NOT bona fide. We do not have to spend money or effort recording activities only for that.
