Today, only some can operate brands. Whereas the same was true in the past for information products like contents and programs, technology made it possible for anyone to make information products. Today, anyone can distribute videos on YouTube and apps on the App Store. We are planning to do the same for brands. We plan to bring democracy to the market of brands. Each customer deserves to live a custom life. Consumers will no longer have to wear the same Zara shirts, the same Levi’s pants, and the same Nike shoes. AI companions will help them not just discover but also assess all the brands that exist so that each customer can get the products that are “best for her” instead of “good enough for most people”. Curation is also an expression. In a community where profiles are curations, people with superior tastes will rise in fame and earn the trust of many fans. We will make it easy for these stars to grow their brands and sell custom products. A star with many fans will use our Generative AI to convert abstract concepts into tangible products, like perfumes for example, then iterate while testing samples. Once the star is happy with a sample, she will be able to publish the product for fans to order. We will manufacture and deliver the products to the fans. The star can relax at home, collect the money, and focus on refining her taste and her story. We will collect money so that we can keep operating our economy well. Everyday, people all over the world will present their stories, promote existing products, and propose new ideas. And our economy will grow with every such economic activity. Our business will be limited only by people’s love for brands, their love for one another. # Roadmap 1. Centum Catalog: We will make the biggest catalog in the world for topics related to shopping such as brands, products, and materials. Shoppers will be able to save topics into their own catalogs. 2. Carmel Community: We will make an online community based on catalogs. Shoppers will be able to follow stars whose aesthetics they resonate with. 3. Brands Democracy: We will make a factory where we mix a fixed set of basic elements to make many small custom products. Stars will be able to make money by selling custom products to fans. # Appendix: Origin Story for Focusing on Brand Power When I was a student, I was concerned to learn that every invented technology becomes a mere commodity after hosting competitions along functionality, robustness, convenience, and price. A new technology creates an opportunity for a new enterprise to be born. But I wanted to find an enduring profitability that we can enjoy even after the new technology becomes a mere commodity. And I think I found the answer. Brand power is the answer. When I see the market today, I see that respected brands command high profitability even when they make and sell commodity products, because customers are buying stories not products. Stories are profitable. Products are not. We will establish our company to structurally and automatically collect and manage brands.
