## FY1 S2 W2 Plan

This week, I plan to get the following work done. 

1. Publish Introduction Page and Start Collecting Waitlist Registrations. 
2. Conduct Needfinding Interviews. 
3. Make wireframes on Figma for Polaris. 
4. Develop technology. 
5. Post on social media. 

## Product Focus

Junwon app is a data notebook with GPT assistants. 

This is the current best product idea.

Interviewed 5 people for the first round of needfinding interviews. Added notes to the FY1 S2 W2 Study document. 

## Company Roadmap

- Reflection: Upon reflection, I understand now that I have been blocked recently, because I have been wrong about desires of people. I unofficially wanted to let people live days to be remembered: let people easily record data, manage data, study data. This is because I spend a lot of time and effort studying me, finding out how I can be living better. I was subconsciously aware, and I was able to confirm by chatting with people, that people are not interested in reviewing personal data to the level I am interested in. No matter how much I am interested in fulfilling a desire, I cannot impose other people to desire it. As a consumer, I will continue to be interested in it. But as a producer, our company must follow desires of people. It is time to return to our original plan: to dream and make dreams a reality. So here are our master plans. Our century plan is to make a world where people can dream and make dreams a reality. Our decade plan is to make a world where people can develop programs and create contents.

- Wrote FY1 S2 W2 Polaris Space.
- Wrote FY1 S2 W2 Polaris Union.

## Product

- Decided to develop in 2 branches:
    - Foundation branch will be guided by our roadmap.
    - Prominence branch will be guided by desires of our customers.

## Technology

- Started a monorepo to support web and mobile.
- Chose to develop a single cross platform app as opposed to native apps for each OS.
    - Our focus must be delivering the magical power of AI that people otherwise do not have access to. Native mobile apps do not add to this objective. Richness of animations is not a differentiating attribute. We expect AI model inferencing will lㅏkeep happening on remote servers, and a cross platform app shell will be able to deliver a polished experience for a messenger app that enables communication between the user and the server.
    - Chose Meta React Native over Google Flutter based on current customers of each technology. No popular apps that exist today were developed using Flutter. React Native powers Facebook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Pinterest, and Discord.
- Git Repository is github.com/junwonapp/junwonapp.
    - For Version Control: We will upgrade major version every 1K days, and minor version every 1C days.
- Set up 2 app variants for the 2 tracks: Junwon app for Foundation track and Super app for Prominence track.
    - A different way to understand the two track development is that we will first develop Foundation as the base technology, and then Prominence to deliver utility as a product to consumers.

## Junwon App 9.8.0

- Gave consumer-friendly names to Foundation branch and Prominence branch: Junwon app and Super app.
    - Junwon app (Foundation track) is based on our roadmap: how we want the world to be, how we want people to live, and what we want our company and our product to be to our customers. With this effort, we propose what we think is a good direction for all of us.
    - Super app (Prominence track) is based on desires of people. This is strictly based on present behaviors of consumers that we have observed.
- Selected Super based on observations.
    - AI Stickers: People have been saving images, then attach to messages and comments. AI Generation can fulfill unmet long tail needs.
    - AI Comics: People have been using AI images to narrate stories. Better tools can make it fun and easy.
    - AI Characters: People have been chatting with AI assistants with friends for fun. A real messenger app with group chat feature can make it fun and easy.
