# FY1 S2 Version Documents

Documentations enable us to understand what we are developing. Understanding takes place not only during reading, but also during writing. 

We first write a documentation, and then develop a version. We develop programs to fulfill documented promises and for no other reasons. 

We separately track product documentations and technology documentations. Former helps us understand why, and latter helps us understand how. Titles for former are VERSION/prominence and titles for latter are VERSION/foundation.
