# FY1 S1 Junwon Story # Story A new plot begins in our story this season. We found a great power called Generative AI that can enable anyone to develop programs and create contents. We plan to deliver this great power to people so that they can dream and make dreams a reality. # Dreams We exist to make a world where people can dream and make dreams a reality. We enable products that fulfill desires of people, and advance technology that drive down cost, with the dream of one day fulfilling all desires at no cost, so that we can let people finally live life doing work that they want to be focusing on. # Advances In our last story, we presented our plan to develop Junwon App Platform for founders who are developing apps to fulfill desires of consumers. To guide the development of our App Platform based on the needs of the customers, we set out to bring on customers this season. **First Party** Also see our First Party App Plan. When we started working with our first customer, we discovered that we are endangering them by exporting unstable solution, and endangering us by importing unstable demands. After deliberation, we decided to refund our first customer and terminate all ongoing sales conversations. We now plan to directly deliver a first-party app to consumers. This way, we can have full understanding and full control over the product scenario to support with our technology, and then deliver tested technology to developers outside of our company. After the pivot, we started searching for a strong consumer desire to fulfill. **Artificial Intelligence** Also see our AI Platform Plan. This season, a new generation of Generative AI models featuring Stable Diffusion and Chat GPT demonstrated that AI is now capable of performing commanded tasks and producing compelling outputs for people. However, the great power of Generative AI remains locked away from the consumers as consumers are limited from interacting with AI models the way they want to or at all. To fulfill the strong desires of consumers to directly employ AI, we started developing Junwon AI Platform which, like Junwon App Platform, provides interface and infrastructure, but for consumers to interact with powerful AI models. Whereas information products have been responsible for most of the prosperity generated in recent history, we have an opportunity, for the first time in human history, to give everyone the most powerful means of production of the age. With AI Platform, we will give everyone the power to develop programs and create contents. ### **Gratitudes** We thank you eternally for your trust and support. To enable users to fully benefit from Generative AI, we will need to solve the following interesting challenges. **Accessible Interface** Any complexity in the interface is an impediment to the delivery of utility. We will find a way to give users flexible control over AI models in a simple interface. **Convenient Pricing** Price creates pain during payment and satisfaction ever after. We will find a pricing model that can satisfy users when they are using our product, and decrease the number of times users need to experience the pain of making payments. ### **Calls** 1. If you are discussing AI, please help people accurately understand it, consider important problems related to it, and dream what it can do for us. # **Responses** **On distributing the power of AI and protecting people** AI is already here. We are not choosing between having fire nowhere or everywhere. We are choosing between keeping it in the hands of a few or making it available also in the hands of the many. We intend to protect people from present power imbalance by distributing this great power to them, thereby enabling them to accurately understand it and benefit from it. As we follow this plan, we will invest in finding and making ways to keep people safe from AI and each other, not only with technology, but also with policy. **On our position in the AI industry and upstream dependency** We are in a strong position to provide AI Platform to consumers. We have the capability to start the service now and grow the cash flow over time. Those who have greater capability than we do also face greater opportunity cost than we do, so we have a rare opportunity to invest our capability in a way others cannot choose to follow. We have upstream dependency on AI models, but we expect that great AI models will remain available to us and other developers, either as standalone models or as API endpoints, because multiple institutions currently possess the ability to train state-of-the-art AI models. We will periodically assess the necessity and opportunity of expanding upstream. # Character Our greatest asset is our character. **We target to ever-grow** If we target to deliver an ever-lasting perfection, then we will either never deliver, or deliver one that disappoints one day. We target to deliver ever-growing imperfection. We take one step at a time, just to unblock the step after that, in the direction of our destination. **We target to satisfy** Producers naturally desire to invent the first solution or the best solution, but consumers just want a working solution. We target to deliver, not an optimization, but a satisfaction. **We pave desire lines** When we find that consumers desire to follow a line that is different from ones that producers want them to follow, we pave the line that consumers desire to follow to make it safe and pleasant for them. # **Fortune** We are gifted Generative AI. We set out to make a world where people can dream and make dreams a reality, and we now have an opportunity to give people the power to make dreamed programs and dreamed contents a reality. Let us not waste this opportunity to start, with our own hands, a new era of productivity and prosperity for the humankind.
