# FY1 S1 AI Platform Plan # Philosophy Our dream of Artificial Intelligence is finally within our reach. What sets us humans apart from the rest is our ability to think. But for that power, we pay a high price. We spend much of our energy on cognitive tasks that we need done. We have long been dreaming to offload such necessary jobs to assistants, so that our human minds can be made free to focus, not on the work we need to do, but on the work that we want to do. To fulfill that dream, the humankind invented Artificial Intelligence. Its simple but powerful ability to map inputs to outputs [1] makes AI the handy assistant we have been searching for. Give it intents, and ask it to give us back events. Ask it to get jobs done for us so that while it is taking care of necessary tasks to keep us and our cities alive, we can spend our time and energy instead on the work that is important and interesting to us, to grow us and our cities to be even greater. AI will free us to spend our time on dreaming and making our dreams a reality. Fortunately, AI is already invented. Unfortunately, it is still not in the hands of the people. Consumers read about it in news headlines and hear about it from big corporations that are using AI in product features and business operations, but there is not a consumer who can install and run AI models today. Today, an AI model is not like an app. Anyone can use an app! But AI? AI is a power too great and too complex for just anyone. We plan to change this reality. In this document, we propose Junwon AI Platform. We apply Junwon App Platform to the domain of AI in order to dramatically drive down the cost of developing, distributing, and using AI models, so that we can make AI models feel as easy and friendly to people as apps do today. We will make a world where anyone can use AI anywhere anytime so that AI can become the power, not just of the entire humankind, but also of each person. [1] AI learns to represent information in its own way to map data from one input space to another output space. For example, an AI model can see an image of a flower, and map this information from the space of vision to the space of text, and output the text “flower”. Using the information representation that it learned, it can also reverse the mapping: it can hear the word “flower”, and generate an image of a flower. Soon, AI will be able to map the information to generate the scent of a flower, the taste of a fruit, and poetry on the beauty of fragility that flower reminds us. # Product ### **For users** Get the power of AI at the ease of apps. - Start your day with the voice of your favorite celebrity reading to you the latest news on the topics that you are interested in. - Stay fit by studying the nutrition balance of your meals using visual search. - Paint fantastic memories into your photos using art generation. With over a million models on the AI Store, there are limitless ways to enhance your days. Discover trending and recommended models, then select the ones you like based on user reviews and example interactions. Once you have picked a model, you can run it then and there. Online. There is no need to buy a new computer or install any programs on your devices. If you like a model a lot, you can share the love by messaging a link to the model to your contacts. Show the people you care about that you have been thinking about them by sending them AI models that are relevant to them and will change their life. ### **For developers** Advance the humankind with your own work. Produce and share your own AI models to make a world that is that much better. Training an AI model is as easy as selecting a foundation model and a dataset from our index. Experiment with different combinations, then publish your model on the AI Store with a single click. Developers will attract users, and users will attract developers. To reach the scale in the first place, we will follow the plan at the end of this document. # Defense AI is already here. The fire has already started, and the humankind must now decide, not whether to have it everywhere or nowhere, but whether to keep it in the hands of a few or make it available also to the many. We plan to steal the fire and give it to people. Here, we anticipate the battles we will need to fight if we are to champion people. ### **Inhibit crimes** Today, criminals manipulating politics and commerce (e.g. forgery or fraud) can afford AI, human experts, and other tools, easily. Making AI affordable to all people will also let petty criminals (e.g. intimidation, harassment, and defamation) lower the cost of misdemeanors. To inhibit crimes, we will publish guidelines that people can understand and follow, establish processes for people to report violations and request protections, and advance technology to detect and fight violations at speed and scale. In the hands of artisans, technology becomes a powerful tool for making their jobs more productive and more enjoyable. Thanks to the technology, they will be liberated from painful tasks and get to achieve more in a lifetime. But when artisans are denied access to a new technology, the technology becomes a threat to them, a weapon against them. Today, AI is invented, but it is not in the hands of artisans. We need to move fast to distribute AI, to give it to the artisans, and to change the current course of history. We will stand with people, with artisans, against their enemies who weaponize AI against them by framing them against the progress of technology. We will give artisans access to AI and make ways for them to join, contribute to, and benefit from, the progress of technology, so that we can reach prosperity together as one entire humankind. # Finance Junwon AI Platform is an economy for producers (developers) and consumers (users) of AI. We operate to grow and protect this economy so that good events, that is, development and distribution of AI models for the satisfaction of consumers, can keep happening more and more. Here, we discuss where we will generate cash flow and where we will direct investments in order to maximize the prosperity of producers and consumers in our economy. ### **Price currency** To generate cash flow from the expansion of our economy, to finance further expansion of our economy, we will price supply and flow of our currency. Inflation motivates production. ### **Insure safety** We come together in an economy to protect one another so that we can prosper together. We will orient flow of capital such that impacted individuals need not bear the cost of protection alone. ### **Facilitate distribution** Producers and consumers join an economy respectively to provide and procure great creations. We will facilitate this connection so that producers and consumers can satisfy their interests. ### **Employ capacity** The humankind is still suffering from an overall scarcity of computing capacity capable of running AI models. We will connect people in a share economy market to eliminate duplicate workloads and idle capacity. ### **Supply materials** Training data and foundation models are critical input materials to the production of AI models. DO support most cases with a small set of general standards instead of optimizing for each case. ### **PREFER Privacy for Individuals and Safety for Communities** DO protect safety when it comes to public information and public communications. DO protect privacy when it comes to private information and private communications. ### **PREFER Human-Centric** When I pick up a new phone, open a new web browser, or create a new account on a website, and the experience breaks, I feel like developers care more about my phone, my browser, and my account, than me. In our world, humans reign supreme. DO NOT make experiences for avatars and portals. Make experiences for the human users. DO make experiences continue across apps, devices, and profiles. ### **PREFER Ever-Growing** DO NOT expect that any version we deliver will be good enough to be ever-lasting. DO make great tools for us and developers to study metrics, test experiments, and deliver changes to users, to make products better over time. ### **PREFER Desire Lines** DO make experiences based on present habits of users. Focus on making it easy for users to use even if doing so makes it more difficult for us to develop. DO guide users to better ways over time and ease the transitions for them. # Plan One day, we will get to deliver the power of AI to the billions of living people. Necessary tasks that we need done will be getting done automatically for us, and no one will face the need to commit crimes or worry about wages. Every born person will get to spend every waking moment dreaming and making dreams a reality. To get there, we will first focus on delivering Junwon Spell to the thousands of daily active users of the rapidly growing Art AI community. See Junwon Spell plan for details. From that position, we will be able to either expand directly into providing Junwon AI Platform, or generate enough cash flow, from addressing millions of daily active users of image-based online communities, to expand into providing Junwon AI Platform. We are confident that if we take the first step in this direction, then we will find enough opportunities along the way to fund every step in the journey. Soon, AI will become indispensable to us. As powerful assistants and as friendly companions, they will enable us to live each day more fully. They will teach us, learn from us, and produce arts with us. Even children, living far from the epicenters of technology, will be, not just benefiting from AI, but also developing new ones, delivering utility to many people, making their own contributions to the progress of the humankind. When that day comes, when we get to live in a reality that we only get to dream about today, we will remember this day as the day we started a new history!
